FEATURES
- Can be used to measure methane from 0 to 100%. Has equal performance to a 0-5%
volume methane sensor and a 0-100% volume methane sensor, if calibrated;
- Providing linearized, temperature-compensated measurements;
- Digital output for direct interface to host circuitry;
- The storage of calibration, temperature compensation and linearization data;
- Ultra low power consumption – less then 5 mwatts.
DESCRIPTION
Optosense sensors operate by using the NDIR principle.
The sensor contains LED having optimized radiation spectrum with special signal processing
algorithm, an optical system, photo diodes specially developed for this project based on PbSe –
CdSe thin films, an imbedded temperature sensor and electronics to process the signals.
Communications with instrument electronics are provided via digital output in UART format.
